What is the balanced reaction be if aluminum chloride and sliver nitrate were the reactants?

This is a double replacement reaction.

During the reaction `Ag` will pair with `Cl` and `Al` will pair with `NO_3^(-)` .

`AgNO_3 -> Ag^(+)+NO_3^(-1)`

`AlCl_3 -> Al^(3+)+3Cl^-`

`3AgNO_3+AlCl_3 -> 3Ag^(+)+3NO_3^(-1)+Al^(3+)+3Cl^-`

`Ag` and `Cl` will pair and precipitate as `AgCl` . `Al ` and `NO_3^(-)` will form `Al(NO_3)_3` .

`3AgNO_3_(aq)+AlCl_3_(aq) -> 3AgCl_((s))+Al(No_3)_3_(aq)`

So the correct answers would be (3)
