The volume of the solid obtained by rotating the region bounded by the curves y^2=x and x=2y about y axis, can be evaluated using the washer method, such that:

$\displaystyle{V}={\int_{{a}}^{{b}}}\pi\cdot{\left({{f}}^{{2}}{\left({x}\right)}-{{g}}^{{2}}{\left({x}\right)}\right)}{\left.{d}{x}\right.}$

You need to find the endpoint of interval, hence, you need to solve for y the following equation, such that:

$\displaystyle{{y}}^{{2}}={2}{y}\Rightarrow{{y}}^{{2}}-{2}{y}={0}\Rightarrow{y}{\left({y}-{2}\right)}={0}\Rightarrow{y}={0}{\quad\text{and}\quad}{y}={2}$

You need to notice that $\displaystyle{{y}}^{{2}}<{2}{y}$ on [0,2], such that:
